TGM 01: What to Expect From the New TGM and Some Exciting Announcements

It’s finally here, folks. The Gently Mad has been rebooted. I’m hoping it’s more of a J.J. Abrams style reboot than a George Lucas one.

I did 59 episodes of the old show (which is still in iTunes if you want to peruse the back catalogue) and I’m super excited about relaunching and what’s to come.

In this episode, I dive into why I decided to reboot (despite being told it was a dumb move), what you can expect from the new show and how it will be different from the old one.

One of the biggest changes is that the new show is going to air three times a week. Monday and Wednesday will be interview shows and Friday will be my “experiment” day. Some Friday’s will be solo shows, some will be Q&As, who knows what’s going to happen. I’m going to be trying all sorts of things just for the fun of it and hopefully, your enjoyment as well.

Announcing my podcasting course

I love podcasting. It’s one of the most satisfying things I’ve ever done, which is why I’m so excited to announce that the podcast course I’ve been talking about making for two years is finally happening.

If you have any interest at all in podcasting, trust me, you will want to get on that list. Why? I’m not going to spill all the beans just yet, but I will tell you this: starting next week, you’ll be able to pre-purchase the course for $1. Yeah, you heard me right. Check it out.

The Contest

I’m also running a contest for the first month of the new show, with some awesome stuff to giveaway, including…

  • A FREE year of
  • A FREE 1-hour JDFI Session
  • A 32gb iPad Air
  • A $100 Amazon gift card

If you want in (and come on, why wouldn’t you?), here are the details.

Feedback is always appreciated. Enjoy the show!
